McCormick - Schlitzer

East Providence, R.I. - The Squantum Association provided the setting for the July 26, 2008 wedding ceremony and reception of Maegan Alyse McCormick and Timothy Victor Schlitzer. Rev. Antoinette Cavanna officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Susan McCormick of North Attleboro. The bridegroom is the son of Victor Schlitzer of Framingham and Kathryn Schlitzer of Bellingham.

The bride wore a Jim Hjelm strapless, silk shantung, a-line gown that featured a crystal-embellished bodice, and carried a bouquet of white roses and hydrangea wrapped with white ribbon.

Courtney McCormick, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.

The bridesmaids were Lisa Bandera, Rebecca Fisher, Jayne Hale and Lisa Martin, all friends of the bride.

Brian Schlitzer, brother of the groom, served as best man.

The ushers were Michael Briggs and Dennis Grillo, both friends of the groom, and Alexander McCormick, brother of the bride.

The bride graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va., with a bachelor's degree in biology.

She works as a project facilitator for Campanelli Companies in Braintree.

The groom earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and a master's of business administration from Northeastern University.

He is a senior investment officer for the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board in Boston.

After a trip to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, the couple is residing in Pawtucket.
