Smith - Cyr

Blackswan Country Club in Georgetown was the setting for the March 12 wedding ceremony and reception of Devin Patrick Smith and Desiree Lynn Cyr.

Barbara Theriault officiated during the ceremony.

The groom is the son of Dennis and Marla Smith of North Attleboro. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Renee Cyr of Limington, Maine.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin trumpet gown, and carried a bouquet of calla lilies, white roses, green button pom flowers and hydrangeas.

The maid of honor, Robyn Cyr, sister of the bride, and bridesmaids, Katherine Felicio, Rachel Evans and Shannon Tonelli, all friends of the bride, wore short black dresses with green shoes and pearl accessories.

The best man, Brenden Smith, brother of the groom, and ushers Matthew Deininger, Zac Brenner and Nick Jutila, all friends of the groom, wore black suits with green ties and socks.

The groom graduated from Bishop Feehan High School. He earned a bachelor's and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Western New England College in Springfield and Worcester Polytechnic Institute, respectively.

He works at Raytheon Corporation in Sudbury.

The bride earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Regis College in Weston and a master's degree in physician assistant studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston.

She works at Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital.

The couple took a wedding trip to Japan and Hawaii and lives in Bolton.
