Boston - Katelin Marie Doogan and Timothy Steven Macdonald were married on June 18, 2011 at St. Theresa of Avila Parish in the West Roxbury section of Boston. Monsignor William Helmick officiated.
A reception at the Hyatt Harborside Hotel in Boston followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Marguerite Doogan of Norfolk. The groom is the son of Mark and Debra Macdonald of Wrentham.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white, satin gown by Priscilla of Boston, which was embellished with a crystal and lace applique on the waist and hem of the gown. It also featured a strapless, sweatheart neckline and a cathedral-length train. Fuchsia, open-toed, sling back Kate Spade shoes completed the ensemble.
The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of pink and white peonies, hydrangeas and roses.
Megan Reilly of Norfolk served as maid of honor for her friend.
The bridesmaids were Rebecca Randazzo, sister of the groom, of Wethersfield, Conn.; Jennifer Cummings, cousin of the bride, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Laural Bento, friend of the bride, from the Brighton section of Boston; and Lindsay Mook, friend of the bride, from Providence.
The flower girls were Molly and Maureen Norton, cousins of the bride, of West Roxbury.
Friend of the groom David Rando of Wrentham served as best man.
The ushers were Kevin Doogan and Brendan Doogan, brothers of the bride, of Norfolk; Cory Renzella, friend of the groom, of Exeter, N.H.; and Dan Mascola, friend of the groom, of San Francisco.
The bride is a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School and Curry College Nursing School.
She works as a registered nurse at Brigham & Women's Hospital on the women's oncology floor.
The groom is a graduate of King Philip Regional High School and Northeastern University's School of Business.
He is employed at EZE Castle Integration in Boston in the enterprise solutions group.
The couple took a 9-day trip to the Hyatt Regency Resort in Aruba following the wedding, and reside in Brookline.
