Designer Gilles Montezin has made choosing a wedding dress a cinch - literally.
Montezin, who has created costumes for The Opera Bastille in Paris and dresses for top bridal shops, has launched a new bridal collection that emphasizes each woman's individual shape. With an eye to cut and shape, the designer has also included a built-in waist cincher, "Le Cinch," that is an "abbreviated interpretation of the traditional corset that nearly doubles its predecessor's figure-enhancing effects," according to Montezin.
Le Cinch offers brides a reduction of two to four inches from the waistline, said the manufacturer.
While the product hasn't been evaluated by the Local-I-Dos.com staff for comfort, it could provide the opportunity to buy and wear one less undergarment on your wedding day.
However, convenience doesn't come without a price.
Montezin's dresses range from $4,000 to $7,000 have been picked up by select department stores, including Saks Fifth Avenue and Kleinfeld.
