ABOUT THE COUPLE
How they met:
Rebecca and Michael met through a mutual friend.
How he proposed:
Michael proposed at home with a dozen red roses. Of course, Rebecca said yes. He then surprised her with dinner at the Colonel Blackinton Inn with their families.
Bride's education and occupation: Rebecca received a doctorate of pharmacy in 2007 and works as a pharmacist for CVS Pharmacy.
Groom's occupation: Michael is a licensed electrician for GH Electric.
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony:
Popponesset Inn, Mashpee
The gown:
Rebecca wore a strapless, white gown, which was very simple and lightweight.
The bouquet:
Gerbera daisies were the focus of Rebecca's bouquet. The blooms were mostly bright pink with accents of green and white.
The theme: The couple organized a beach-themed wedding with the main focus on starfish and adirondack chairs.
THE WEDDING PARTY
Maids of honor: Alicia Bell and Wendy Brodeur, both friends of the bride.
Best men: Kevin Beaton and Alex Beaton, brothers of the groom.
Bridesmaids:
Diana Morton, Christina Aldrich, Valerie Howe and Cori Heinricher, friends of the bride.
Groomsmen:
Brian and Brent Bramwell, brothers of the bride, Brian Beltis, Carl Fuller and Kyle Hunt, friends of the groom.
Flower Girl: Brenna Bramwell, cousin of the bride.
Ring Bearers: Brady Bramwell, cousin of the bride.

The cake:
The four-tiered off white cake was half chocolate, half vanilla with orea cream frosting. It was decorated with white chocolate seashells, starfish and faux sand, and it was topped with a pair of adirondack chairs.
First song:
"It's Your Love," by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
The menu:
The reception's menu featured three carving stations (ham, turkey and roast beef), a pasta station, a salad station, and a raw bar.
What made the day unique:
One of the groom's friends lit off fireworks right on the beach at the end of the reception while the "Top Gun" theme song was playing.
Most touching moment of the day:
Rebecca's uncle officiated during the ceremony, which made it a little more special.
Honeymoon destination:
The couple went to St Thomas, USVI.
