ABOUT THE COUPLE
How they met:
Ashley and Jonathan were high school sweethearts. Both graduated from North Attleboro High School in 2006.
How he proposed:
Jonathan proposed on Valentine's Day in the couple's first apartment together in 2010.
Bride's education and occupation: Ashley graduated from North Attleboro High School in 2006. She is attending Fisher College in North Attleboro to receive an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has received teacher certification.
She is the lead teacher of toddler classroom at Scribble Time Day Care in North Attleboro, and is a dance teacher at The Dance Factory in Attleboro.
Groom's education and occupation: Jonathan graduated from North Attleboro High School in 2006, and attended Universal Technical Institute in Norwood.
He is a carpenter for South Eastern Carpentry in Wrentham.
The ceremony was held at the Hemisphere Beach in Sandwich.
Ashley wore an elegant, ivory, strapless gown with lace and beading.
Ashley's bouquet included flowers in hues of blue, pink, orange and purple.
THE WEDDING PARTY

Chelsea Clark, sister of the bride.

The reception was at the Hemisphere Restaurant in Sandwich.
The theme: Ashley and Jonathan's wedding drew on its location for a beach theme.
The couple had a cupcake tower featuring three dozen red velvet cupcakes with buttercream frosting, with one large cupcake for bride and groom to cut. They also featured edible beach decorations.
The couple's first song was "Still the One" by Shania Twain. "We took along way to get where we are today, and without our true love and passion for one another we could not have accomplished all we have together," Ashley said.
A buffet-style dinner with various salads, sides, chicken, seafood, prime rib and pork loin was served.
What made the day unique:
The couple wanted a May beach wedding and that's what they had. "We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day," Ashley said.
Most touching moment of the day:
Ashley says the most touching moment of the day was the couple's first dance. "We could both breathe and capture in the moment that we will carry with us forever," she said.
The couple took a honeymoon to St. Petersburg, Fla.
