Erin and Sean were both members of the Mansfield High School Class of 2005. They went on one date in high school that didn't work out well, but started to see each other again on a regular basis at T.G.I. Fridays in Mansfield in 2010 and a relationship grew from there.
How he proposed:
Sean proposed in the living room of our apartment while we were unpacking from a camping trip on June 26, 2011.

Junior bridesmaid: Sarah Jacques, cousin of the bride.
Matt Leary and Brian Leary, brothers of the groom, and David Leary, father of the groom.
Ryley O'Rourke. Erin has been taking care of Ryley since she was an infant at Rainbow Kids Learning Center and now babysits her as a busy kindergartener.
Number of guests:
The reception was also in the Tree Top Room Garden at Lake Pearl Luciano's.
The theme: Erin and Sean's theme was found in the colors yellow and gray, which were worked into the wedding in various ways including the bridesmaid's dresses (which were the color "Falcon" by Watters), the bride's yellow shoes, the groomsmen's canary yellow ties and boutonnieres, and the groomsmen's gray suits.
The couple had a four-tiered featuring layers of carrot and chocolate truffle. They also had a custom cake topper that showcased pet cats, Stanley and Zoey, and was lined with silver and yellow ribbon.
The couple's first song was "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz. Sean initially wanted Etta James's "At Last" and Erin initially wanted Van Morrison's "Into the Mystic," so they compromised.
During cocktail hour, mozzarella caprese, a bread and oil station, assorted mini quiche, coconut chicken, fried calamari and assorted fresh fruit and cheese were served. Guests had a choice of Black Angus prime rib or chicken florentine for the entree.
What made the day unique:
Erin became teary eyed as the door opened to walk down the aisle.
"We were blessed with beautiful weather and a perfect ceremony to share with our family and friends," she said. "Also, Sean's brother Kevin delivered an Irish Blessing in his speech (once he found the index card)."
Most touching moment of the day:
Erin and her father, David McCarter, shared a dance to "Butterfly Kisses" and a rare moment when dad had a tear in his eye was observed.
The couple took a honeymoon to the Grand Pineapple Resort in Antigua.
